Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is without error in the original languages. We believe that in this holy book God shows us the condition of mankind, our hope for salvation through Jesus Christ the Lord, and the way in which He desires us to live.

We believe the heavens, the earth and all living things were created by God for His pleasure and His glory.

We believe God created man in His own image but man sinned, bringing both physical and spiritual death on humanity; that Jesus Christ paid for our sin with His blood sacrificed at His death on the cross; that all who trust Him as Savior are saved from the eternal punishment of sin.

We believe God is eternal and that He is three persons in one-Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ; that He lived a sinless life on earth, was crucified, buried and rose again the third day; that He ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for His children. We further believe that He is Head over all things concerning His children and that He watches over them faithfully; therefore, we need never fear.

We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace that cannot be earned by any means; that we receive it by faith when we refuse to trust in our own merit and put our confidence in the blood and righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ; having done this, we are born into God's family and become His children.

We believe that having once turned to Christ for salvation, we have a responsibility to live righteously and in such a manner as to bring glory and honor to His name.

We believe the local church is God's primary means for evangelizing the lost and discipling believers; therefore, we encourage all believers to become active in a Bible-believing church.

We believe Jesus Christ will one day return to the earth to judge the world in righteousness and glory to establish His kingdom here on earth, and that He will some day give eternal rewards to those who have been obedient to Him.

We believe that Satan is the god of this age and the adversary of Christ and all true believers; that he desires to uproot and destroy those who seek to follow God; however, God's Holy Spirit gives us power to overcome this adversary. We believe his final destiny is eternal punishment and separation from God and that all those who have not trusted Christ for their salvation will spend eternity with Satan.
