Laugh a Little
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones
--Proverbs 15:22
Laughter is a gift from God! It provides a multitude of benefits to the body, it refreshes the mind, it soothes the soul, and it opens the way for a better outlook on life.
Years ago an instructor told me to start a joke file to use for public speaking and writing. That turned out to be the most fun assignment I was ever given and I’ve been working on it for more than 20 years. Below are some of my favorites. I read and reread them, and I laugh every time I do! I hope you can sit back and unwind a little and enjoy the gift of laughter.
Joyfully,
Ann Shorb
