Rod Hemphill
Rod Hemphill was born in Johnstown, PA, and joined the U.S. Marine Corps at age 17. He was transferred to the Marine detachment at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. While at Annapolis, he became the organist of the First Baptist Church of Eastport, heard the Gospel of Christ and gave his life to Christ one month before being discharged from The Corps, and became committed to entering Christian service. At this church he also met Dottie Sadler, whom he married in 1960. Rod and Dottie have four children, five grandchildren and a new grandchild to be born in June.

Elaine Olson
Elaine graduated from Wheaton College and earned her masters degree in counseling from Liberty University. She served at a church as a counselor and Family Life Director before joining CCES. For more than 40 years she has used her gift of teaching in Bible Studies, Sunday School classes and various other settings. She conducts marriage retreats, women’s conferences, and seminars on anger, depression, communications, and conflict resolution.
Elaine is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and is well experienced in individual, marriage counseling and premarital counseling. She is certified to administer the Prepare/Enrich profile, the DISC inventory, and the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis.

Ralph Olson
Ralph (pictured above) and Elaine have been married over 40 years, and they have two adult children. He earned a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Wheaton College, and then served as an officer in the US Army. His career included sales, technical and senior management positions in the insurance, information systems and communications fields.
Ralph has worked with couples and individuals in the areas of personal financial planning and management. He has led financial seminars for over fifteen years based on the financial principles of the Bible. His seminars focus on budgeting, managing and eliminating debt, starting savings and investment programs, long term financial planning, planning for retirement, and wealth transfer. He is also certified to administer the DISC profile.
